Huge props to EVO. I PR’d my 1/2 in March by 2 minutes. I just realized that today I topped that in the Pig (on a MUCH harder course) and set my new record by another 40 seconds. So thats 2 races and 2 PRs !
So freakin’ proud of this kid. He’s been running the mile, the 800, and the 4xmile (occasionally) this track season. His goal was to hit a 6min mile this season...and for those of you that know Patrick, you know that achieving it would take a Herculean effort.
He started out at 7:06, and his personal record was 6:07...until Friday.
5:58 was his official time on Friday. Then he turned around and ran 3:02 in the 800. And while those are not super fast times from a track standpoint, for Patrick it’s akin to warp speed.
That’s what guts, grit, and perseverance looks like in real life.

I joined Evolution Fitness when they opened in 2012. !I thought I was in good shape, but was quickly proved wrong! !I have grown stronger and am in the best shape of my life. !I love that each and every class is different and more challenging. Uhere is a Family feeling to Evolution that truly makes it enjoyable to go to the gym.
“ A little over three years ago my wife Michelle and I were looking for an off season fitness program for our kids to supplement the sports they participate in. After talking to friends the name that seemed to come up over and over again was Evolution. We enrolled our kids and they loved the performance training program after their first class, very eager to return night after night. After watching my kids workout a few times I had the pleasure of meeting Mike Stylski and he invited me to join bootcamp while they were working out. Having been an athlete many years ago I was excited to join the class but a little nervous to get back into "the game". After my first class I was hooked, I knew I was "home". I was welcomed by everyone as if I had been a friend for many years. Each night that I brought the kids to Evolution I looked more and more forward to working out myself, at this point it's become a bit of an addiction. With the help of the training staff, the members, and some old fashioned hard work the results have been amazing. At 43 years old I can say I'm physically in the best shape of my life. When you walk into Evolution all egos are left outside and everyone is there to help and support each other like family. This is truly a special place! “
On January 6th, my stats were as follows; weight 220 lbs., waist 42”, pulse 72, and b/p 140/110. I called Mike Stylski and schedule a meeting. Mike trained my daughter who is a D3 collegiate soccer player. The purpose of the meeting was to inquire about personal training. We talked for about 30 mins and I decided to move forward with a program for 30 days. Mike put together a program that was tailored specifically for me. I began with (2) 1 hour training sessions per week and a 15 minute bike session on Saturday. Over time, my number of workout days increased as did my confidence. He amended my program multiple times while pushing and challenging me. Needless to say, I am currently working out 5-6 times per week.
The environment at Evolution is very supportive. I view it as a “family” environment. Members are encouraging and the camaraderie has been outstanding. We do fun things (mud races, various challenges, dinners, etc.) as a group. It has made the experience very enjoyable.
14 months later, my stats are as follows; weight 177 lbs., waist 32”, pulse 55, and b/p 105/71. The results speak for themselves.
